The mission of the Topeka Police Credit Union is to provide quality service and products to maximize the financial well-being of our members, while operating in a sound manner with honesty and integrity.

Who May Join The Credit Union

All active or retired employee/ volunteer of the Law Enforcement Center and family members of any active or retired employee/ volunteer of the Law Enforcement Center. Membership, once established, may continue even though the Credit Union Member had retired. This includes the Police Department, Sheriff’s Office, CECC, Fleet Garage, Coroners Office, Volunteers of above Departments.

Definition of Field of Membership:

Any active or retired employee/ volunteer of the Law Enforcement Center will include the following:

  • Police Department
  • Sheriff’s Office
  • CECC
  • Fleet Garage
  • Coroners Office
  • Volunteers of above Departments
  • Employee/Volunteer of the above Departments, Then
  •  Mother Father/Step Mother Father
  • Spouse
  • Children/Step Children
  • Grand Children/Step Grand Children
  • Great Grand Children/Step Great Grand Children

When an active or retired employee/ volunteer expires the progression of the Field of Membership will continue.

  • ALL WITHDRAWALS WILL BE PLACED AT THE LAW ENFORCEMENT CENTER FRONT DESK EFFECTIVE MARCH 23, 2020 at 9:00 a.m. Please call (785 368 9436) or email (creditunion@toppdcu.com) the credit union with your request.

  • The Topeka Police Credit Union’s annual meeting for 2020 has been postponed indefinitely. Please check back for updates. There are three (3) open Board positions. Please email your interest to creditunion@toppdcu.com.
  • $2 statement fee goes into effect 02/01/2020. Call, stop by or email the credit union to sign up for free e-statements to avoid the fee.
  • Avoid a $25 dormant fee; if you have not had deposit, withdrawal or electronic funds transfer activity in the last 12 months your account is dormant. If you have an active loan, a CD or IRA those accounts are excluded. Call, stop by or email the credit union with questions.
  • Purchase discounted tickets and take your favorite person to the movies. Tickets are available to anyone, even non-members! Tell your friends!
